DHM Supports a Summer Camp for the Disabled in Kyiv

DHM volunteers, Karine and Marika, with Anna from the Kyiv camp

Last year, we showed you a moving video of three disabled people receiving baptism at the summer camp in Kyiv in July 2018:

This year, DHM sent two volunteers, Karine and Marika, to participate in the summer camp in Kyiv. They have been helping to care for the disabled people at the camp.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we were able not only to fund the participation of our volunteers, but also to support the camp itself with a donation.

We have seen for ourselves the amazing impact that this camp has on the lives of everyone involved: not just for the disabled people, but also for the volunteers, who deepen their faith and their appreciation of the ways in which God works through the lives of those the world considers to be weak and imperfect. Precisely in the smiling and suffering faces of these precious ones do we perceive the countenance of Christ Himself.

Please help us to continue to support this amazing work in Ukraine which is changing so many lives and making an amazing impact for the Kingdom of God in Ukraine. You can make a donation and DHM can now claim Gift Aid. Please visit our donations page: http://www.dniprohopemission.org/donate/

In the meantime, here are some recent pictures of DHM volunteers, Karine and Marika, with some of the disabled people at the summer camp in Kyiv…
